The Accounting Assistant is responsible for supporting the Accounts Payable function by processing invoices, maintaining vendor records, assisting with account reconciliations, and providing exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders. This role ensures timely and accurate invoice processing, payment support, and compliance with established accounting procedures. Key Responsibilites: Process purchase order and non-purchase order invoices accurately and efficiently. Review invoices using OCR and AP automation systems to validate pricing, quantities, and supporting documentation. Match invoices against purchase orders and goods receipts and resolve discrepancies with purchasing, logistics, and business partners. Enter and maintain invoice information within the ERP system as needed. Route invoices for coding and approval through automated workflow systems.
