Insulator PositionOneSource Professional Search is partnering with an established industrial equipment manufacturer and they're seeking an experienced Insulator. This role involves hands-on insulation work on fabricated equipment, with additional exposure to tubing and hydrostatic testing of heat-exchanger equipment. It is a three-month contract role with the potential for direct hire conversion.ResponsibilitiesLay out, cut, fit, and install insulation on manufactured equipment.Work from engineering drawings, sketches, and manufacturing instructions.Support tubing and proper tube-rolling activities.Assist with hydrostatic testing of heat-exchanger equipment.Complete assigned work safely, accurately, and within production requirements.QualificationsHands-on industrial insulation experience, including layout, cutting, fitting, and installation.Ability to read and work from engineering drawings, sketches, and manufacturing instructions.Ability to work safely in a heavy-industrial, non-climate-controlled shop.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical work including standing, stooping, climbing, crawling, and working in confined spaces.Preferred QualificationsApproximately three years of relevant trade experience.Experience with tubing and tube rolling.Hydrostatic testing or heat-exchanger experience.High school diploma or equivalent
