A stable CPA office in Maitland, FL is seeking a Tax Accountant for a temp-to-hire opportunity. This is an excellent role for a tax professional with 5+ years of experience who is looking to join a long-established, small-office environment and become fully trained before tax season begins.

The office has been in business since 1988 and offers a busy but quiet professional setting with a close-knit team of 13 people. This Tax Accountant role is ideal for someone who enjoys focused tax work, values consistency, and can thrive during the high-volume January through April/May tax season. The temp-to-hire structure provides a strong path for long-term growth with a reputable organization.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay rate: $33 to $38+ per hour.

- Position type: Temp-to-hire.

- Location: Maitland, FL 32751.

- Work arrangement: 100% onsite.

- Schedule: 40 hours per week until tax season.

- Tax season schedule: Approximately 60 hours per week from January through April/May.

- Start date: ASAP to allow time for training before tax season begins.

- Due to tax season demands, time off requests are not expected to be granted during January through April/May.
